Role Overview

Working in a small specialist team of Electronic Hardware Engineers, your focus will be on value engineering, understanding the customer requirements, and working closely with procurement to re‑engineer or reverse engineer products to be more cost effective while still meeting customer requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Value engineering experience – previous experience making existing products more cost effective.
• DFM experience.
• Understanding of the commercial objectives needed for a senior role focused on value engineering.
• Good electronics design experience – digital & analogue design experience.

Nice‑to‑have Requirements

• Previous aerospace or highly regulated industry electronics design experience.
