Job summary

Real Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer for a leading organisation in Scotland. The role covers analogue design, power supplies, EMC, schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, provide design reviews and documentation, and mentor junior engineers. The position is 50% onsite in Scotland with flexibility and a 6-month initial contract at a rate of £60-75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in analogue/design of electronic systems.
• Knowledge of EMC and power supply design is required.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test analogue and mixed-signal electronic systems.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts and perform design reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and document technical work.

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic systems and components. Responsibilities include circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, troubleshooting, design reviews, technical mentoring, and project documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reliable, and compliant solutions.

The start date is for 1st January but we can wait for the right person. The initial contract length is for 6 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Scotland and will require 50% onsite presence with flexibility.
