Job summary

Christy Media Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to own hardware development from concept to production. You will design electronic systems, create schematics and dense PCB layouts, and program components to meet performance requirements.

You’ll support prototype bring-up, debugging, and EMC validation, collaborating with mechanical, firmware and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transfer to volume manufacture.

Qualifications

• Experience in analogue and digital electronic design.
• Strong schematic capture and PCB design skills.
• Understanding of microprocessors, programmable logic and embedded electronics.
• Practical experience debugging, validating and refining hardware designs.
• Exposure to EMC design at system level.
• Comfortable working to deadlines and balancing quality with delivery.
• Methodical approach to documentation and design records.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic systems from concept through to production-ready hardware.
• Create schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts balancing performance, signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Develop and program electronic components to meet requirements.
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging and fault-finding down to component level.
• Contribute to system-level EMC design and validation and pre-compliance activities.
• Design and build bespoke test equipment and fixtures for development and production testing.
• Support products through NPI and into volume manufacture.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware and manufacturing partners.
• Work with contract manufacturers for smooth transfer from design to production.
• Produce clear, structured technical documentation for long-term support.
