Job summary

Platform Recruitment is assisting an innovative technology consultancy to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer for advanced sensing systems and embedded platforms. You will own concepts through to manufacture, mentoring junior engineers and aligning with embedded software, FPGA and mechanical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in analogue, digital and RF electronics design.
• Extensive experience using Altium Designer.
• Knowledge of RF PCB layout, EMC and signal integrity.
• Hands-on PCB bring-up, fault-finding, soldering and prototype rework.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue, digital and RF electronic systems.
• Create schematics and high-density, mixed-signal PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Produce manufacturing data, Bills of Materials and supporting technical documentation.
• Take electronic designs from initial concept through to manufacture.
• Carry out PCB bring-up, testing, debugging, validation and fault-finding.
• Work closely with embedded software, FPGA and mechanical engineers.
• Liaise with PCB manufacturers and assembly partners throughout production.

Senior Electronics Engineer - Analogue, Digital & RF

I'm recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology consultancy developing advanced electronic systems for cutting-edge research and product development projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Principal Electronics Engineer to work within talented multidisciplinary teams on intelligent sensing systems, embedded processing platforms, RF technologies and bespoke instrumentation. You'll take ownership of complex designs from initial concept through to manufacture, while providing technical leadership and mentoring more junior engineers.

The Role

• Design and develop analogue, digital and RF electronic systems
• Create schematics and high-density, mixed-signal PCB layouts using Altium Designer
