Technical authority for hardware aspects of the product, e.g., design verification, formal qualification, etc.
Considerations include cost, size, DFM, etc.
Drive innovation and process development within your scope of responsibility.
Contribute to the design and verification of new components, products, and systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Support root cause analysis on issues with existing products when required.
Assist the Sales team with technical proposals.
Participate in peer review processes within the team.
Provide technical mentorship to other engineers.
Electronic engineering qualifications, ideally a degree.
Proven skills in hardware design, with a PCB or electronic design bias.
Experience using PCB CAD packages such as Eagle, OrCAD, or Altium.
Ideally, practical experience designing electronic assemblies to meet EMC requirements.
Experience supporting products throughout their lifecycle.
Ability to obtain SC security clearance.
Offering up to £55k basic salary, plus a competitive benefits package including 25 days holiday. Relocation assistance is provided.
