Job summary

PhysicsX is seeking an Electromagnetic Simulation Expert to lead high-frequency EM projects for semiconductor design, with a strong emphasis on SI/PI, antenna design, and EMI/EMC analysis. You will work with data scientists and customers, building scalable simulations and delivering insights.

Based in New York City, the role includes travel to North America and collaboration across AI-driven simulation platforms, with opportunities to grow toward senior technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in electromagnetic theory and simulation with hands-on experience in low- and high-frequency EM.
• Proficient in one or more industry-standard EM simulation platforms.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in a commercial environment post Masters/PhD.

Responsibilities

• Independently build complex electromagnetic models for low- and high-frequency EM applications.
• Automate simulation pipelines for fast optimization and parametric design.
• Leverage cloud and HPC resources to accelerate high-fidelity models.
• Collaborate with customers to understand engineering challenges and present results clearly.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Travel to North America on-site 3–4 weeks per quarter.
