The Star is seeking a skilled Commercial Senior Electrician to support major commercial, office, and hospitality fit-out projects in the Dartford area. You will install electrical systems, read drawings, and work with project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Ideal candidates are fully qualified with NVQ Level 3, AM2 and JIB Gold Card, ECS card, and hold a valid UK driving licence. You will contribute to safety, mentoring, and daily progress reporting on site.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3, AM2 and JIB Gold Card.
• Strong experience in commercial and office/hospitality fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of the latest electrical regulations (18th Edition).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out electrical installation works on commercial projects to BS7671 standards.
• Install containment systems, wiring, lighting, power, and data as per design and specification.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical schematics.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project completion.
• Mentor apprentices and provide practical training and guidance.
• Complete daily site diaries and record progress accurately.
• Perform testing, inspection and commissioning tasks where qualified.
• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with health and safety policies and site regulations.
• Represent the company professionally when liaising with clients or site representatives.
• Deliver high-quality electrical and mechanical services across commercial and office fit-out projects in the Dartford area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works on various commercial projects to BS7671 standards.
• Install containment systems, wiring, lighting, power, and data as per design and specification.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical schematics.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project completion.
• Support and assist apprentices, offering guidance, practical training, and setting a positive professional example.
• Complete daily site diaries and record progress for the electrical team accurately and on time.
• Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning tasks where qualified.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with health & safety policies and site regulations.
• Represent our company professionally when liaising with clients or site representatives.
