Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering seeks an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of high voltage projects near Inverurie. You will focus on substations, switchgear installations and cabling, handling cost control and project financial management.

The role requires a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, plus strong Excel skills, exemplary communication and robust record keeping.

Qualifications

• Must have a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying.
• Proven communication/interpersonal skills.
• Excellent record keeping and administration skills.
• Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery of high voltage projects (substations, switchgear, cabling).
• Cost control, valuation and project financial management.
• Prepare BOQs, profit plans and interim/final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and interim valuations.
• Maintain accurate records and provide cost backup.
