Job summary

Meridian are partnering with a growing electrical engineering company to appoint an Electrical Contract Manager. You will oversee electricians on large industrial sites, coordinating programmes and procurement to keep installations on schedule.

The role combines site and office work with some UK travel, including Wakefield/Bradford facilities and occasional Germany site visits. A strong background in electrical projects and SMSTS is essential, with excellent communication and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Background managing Electricians on complex industrial or manufacturing sites.
• SMSTS or equivalent management qualifications required.
• Electrical background and hands-on site experience essential.
• Experience meeting deadlines within changing timeframes and budgets.
• Excellent people skills with engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Computer literacy including MS Office; full UK driving licence and passport.

Responsibilities

• Manage project programme and lifecycles with regular site visits to Bradford and Wakefield.
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure timely installations and manufacturing output.
• Collaborate with Site Management and Directors on production timelines.
• Oversee material orders and coordinate with procurement/delivery teams.
• Lead Site Management and resolve on-site issues; assist workforce planning.
