Overview

A leading, award winning, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the appointment of an experienced and commercially skilled Senior Electrical Project Manager. The role is based in the Birmingham / West Midlands area, with candidates ideally based there or able to commute.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations on projects up to and around £25M, with flexibility to consider higher values within reason, aligned to commercial/industrial schemes.
• Lead the delivery of electrical installations into new build industrial sheds for warehousing & distribution, industrial units for a variety of manufactured goods, office blocks and data centres, among others.
• Provide project management and delivery of all electrical services within commercial/industrial environments.
• Coordinate with main contractors and organise the work of the on-site electrical team (Electrical Site Managers, Electrical Supervisors and Electrical installation engineers) and other specialist electrical engineers for wider installation elements.
• Maintain a client-facing presence, conduct meetings with professionalism and integrity, and manage project expectations effectively.
• Ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality targets, with a proactive approach to risk management and problem solving.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background in M&E / Building Services electrical installation project management, with direct experience delivering electrical installations and all electrical services in relevant environments.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering schemes of a commercial/industrial nature.
• Experience dealing with main contractors is highly regarded.
• Based in or able to commute to the Birmingham / West Midlands area.
• Ability to work as part of a stable, professional team and to engage with clients in meetings with confidence and integrity.
