About the Role

Our client, a renowned M&E Contractor with a turnover exceeding £250M, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager for their London operations. The project involves managing a £25M M&E package for a new commercial building.

Responsibilities

• Manage design reviews and liaise with clients, main contractors, and consultants
• Procure subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate RFIs with relevant parties
• Implement value engineering where applicable
• Develop project schedules using MS Project or Asta
• Ensure health & safety compliance (RAMs)
• Assist with subcontractor variation accounts alongside the Quantity Surveyor
• Manage project variations
• Oversee engineers, construction managers, and supervisors
• Conduct progress meetings and oversee commissioning
• Prepare OM manuals and facilitate client handover

Candidate Profile

• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Background in the commercial sector
• Management of projects valued at £20M or more
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
• Experience working with main contractors like Wates, Lend Lease, Sir Robert McAlpine, or Mace is preferred
