Our growing pipeline across Scotland includes opportunities within:

  • Lochaber Hospital, Fort William – a major new healthcare development

  • Nairn Academy – Passivhaus new-build secondary school
  • Forres and the Highlands – regional construction and building-services programmes

The role provides the opportunity to work across different sectors and projects, offering variety, long-term career development and exposure to some of Scotland’s most important infrastructure and building programmes.

What you'll be doing

As Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take ownership of the electrical elements of your project and ensure safe, high-quality and commercially successful delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the electrical delivery of complex building services and infrastructure projects.
  • Managing electrical project scope, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist packages.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, schedules, submittal logs and coordination drawings.
  • Working closely with design, commercial, construction and commissioning teams.
  • Leading pre-construction, progress, design and technical meetings.
  • Managing procurement, material delivery and technical compliance.
  • Overseeing quality control, sustainability requirements and loss-prevention measures.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing programme, technical and delivery risks.
  • Ensuring accurate as-built information and documentation.
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, project completion and handover.
  • Driving a strong culture of safety, quality and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Who we're looking for

You will have:

  • A strong background in Electrical Project Management or MEP Project Management within construction, building services or major infrastructure environments.
  • Experience delivering large, technically complex projects.
  • Healthcare project experience, ideally within hospitals or other complex healthcare environments.
  • Experience within education, public-sector, infrastructure or major building projects would also be advantageous.
  • Strong electrical and building-services technical knowledge.
  • Experience managing specialist subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
  • The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project and programme performance.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working through pre-construction, construction, commissioning and handover phases.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and technical excellence.

You may already be operating as a Senior Electrical Project Manager, or you could be an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take the next step in your career on larger and more complex projects.
