Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for the Thames Water Major Projects team.

You will provide LV and HV electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects within the water sector, delivering electrical design and build services for new and existing assets. The role focuses on managing low and high voltage works, HV switchgear, and LV MCC delivery across major projects, with a requirement for an HNC in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation engineering and

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience managing Low and High Voltage electrical works including HV switchgear.
• Knowledge of Profibus, DeviceNet and Ethernet IP communications protocols.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical documentation including block cable diagrams, load schedules, cable schedules, and MCC/RTU schematics.
• Represent Kier at electrical installation and MCC progress meetings with Thames Water Operations.
• Review on-site electrical installation and commissioning works for quality and asset standards.
