Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support major water infrastructure projects across Thames Water, based on site at Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth. You will contribute to design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems from concept through handover.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities across electrical activities, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors, attending FATs and SATs, and ensuring health, safety and

Qualifications

HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, water, power generation or industrial environments.
Knowledge of industrial electrical installations, MCCs and power distribution systems.
Understanding of health, safety and quality requirements on construction projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle and review technical documentation.
Coordinate electrical installations with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and commissioning activities.
Support installation and commissioning of LV and HV systems under guidance.
Monitor quality, safety and programme performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
