Job summary
UK Atomic Energy Authority in Clifton Hampden is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to lead LV/MV/HV distribution projects and deliver safe, reliable power systems for our fusion-related facilities and IT infrastructure.
You will provide technical leadership, develop earthing designs per BS EN standards, mentor teams and ensure compliant documentation while working onsite with flexible arrangements. A degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Engineer progression are expected.
Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical Engineering and significant professional experience in electrical engineering, with Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status or active progression towards it.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in power distribution, including LV/MV distribution networks.
Responsibilities
- Lead LV/MV distribution projects from concept through detailed design and delivery.
- Develop HV/MV/LV earthing systems design and calculations per standards.
- Prepare earthing calculations, models, drawings and test requirements per BS EN/ENA/DNO.
