Job Title: Senior Electrical Operations Manager – Exhibitions &Events

Location: Manchester (Salford) – withtravel across the UK and occasional overseas projects

Hours:40 core hours/week, flexibility required includingevenings/weekends

Are you an experienced andhands-on electrical manager ready to take ownership of large-scaleexhibition and event delivery across the UK and beyond? We’re seekinga Senior Electrical Operations Manager to join our clientsdynamic and fast-paced team delivering exhibition builds,installations, and live event support.

You’ll beone of a small number of senior operational leads within theelectrical division, responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle ofexhibition stands and event electrical services—from planning throughto on-site delivery and post-event debrief.

WhatYou’ll Be Doing:

• Project Ownership : Lead theelectrical services for multiple live exhibitions, overseeingplanning, supplier coordination, on-site support, and post-eventwrap-up.
• Team Management : Manage and supportelectrical delivery managers, technicians, and support staff acrossregional hubs.
• Technical Oversight : Provide expertguidance and technical support, act as a key contact for venues andexhibitors to resolve electrical requirements, and liaise withsuppliers
• Event Planning : Work closely with the EventManagement and Sales Teams to plan resources, floor plan layouts, andcoordinate service partner involvement.
• Stock & SupplierOversight : Manage stock levels with suppliers and externalservice partner relationships to ensure timely and efficient eventdelivery.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience : 5+ years, ideally in LiveEvent/Exhibition delivery or a related field
• Qualifications : City & Guilds or equivalentqualifications, including 17th/18th Edition IET ElectricalInstallation.
• Leadership : Strong people manager,solve problems on-site, and deliver under pressure to strictdeadlines.
• Customer-Focused : Approachable andsolutions-oriented, able to work directly with clients, exhibitors,and suppliers.
• Adaptable : Flexible to travel acrossthe UK (Manchester, Midlands, Ripon) and internationally, and worklate nights or weekends as needed for events.
