Job summary

Glanua is seeking an accomplished Electrical Estimator to join our pre-construction team and lead detailed costings for water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will develop accurate electrical estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documentation, balancing technical rigor with commercial risk.

This role requires strong analytical ability, knowledge of mechanical systems, and experience with estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Estimating within the water, wastewater or related infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in developing accurate, competitive mechanical estimates for complex treatment plant projects.
• Experience working with UK water companies is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, accurate electrical estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Ensure estimates reflect realistic construction risk and adhere to governance.
• Engage in design development to assess buildability, installation methods and opportunities for innovation.
• Provide early stage cost guidance during tendering to support optioneering and value for money.
