Job summary

MMP Consultancy seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client’s Surrey team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for temporary site service projects, coordinating with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients from pre-contract through handover.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Quantify labour, materials, plant, and equipment requirements.
• Analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop accurate cost breakdowns and pricing schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project scope and technical requirements.
• Assess project risks and ensure estimates align with safety, compliance, and sustainability standards.
• Support value engineering and cost control initiatives.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, records, and pricing information.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to refine proposals and support successful project delivery.
