Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in the UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts for water and wastewater projects. The role covers feasibility, design, construction and commissioning across major infrastructure schemes in the Manchester/Leeds region.

You will mentor junior staff and drive technical excellence within AMP8 initiatives. The candidate will have strong experience in LV distribution, MCCs, PLCs and SCADA, with a degree in electrical engineering and ideally Chartered

Qualifications

Significant electrical engineering experience in the UK water industry.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with LV distribution, MCCs, cabling, instrumentation, PLCs and SCADA.
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review electrical designs for water and wastewater projects.
Work across MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, networks, PLCs and SCADA.
Develop and integrate new technologies with legacy installations.
Produce technical specifications and procurement schedules.
Review supplier bids and technical submissions.
Mentor Graduates and Engineers to develop skills.
Engage with clients to meet project objectives.
