Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of water infrastructure? We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Water Solutions team. You will support multi-billion-pound water infrastructure programmes across the UK, contributing to high-impact projects in water and wastewater sectors.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead design and delivery of projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work with clients and contractors. This is a long-term opportunity to grow your career and impact water resilience and sustainability.

Key Programmes You'll Support

• South West Water & Wessex Water (£8bn AMP8 & AMP9): Frameworks for engineering consultancy and design services
• Severn Trent Water (£14.9bn AMP8): Major projects and wastewater schemes
• Southern Water (£3.7bn): Capital delivery frameworks for water and wastewater projects

Your Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical and ICA elements in water infrastructure projects
• Produce and review technical deliverables, calculations, and drawings
• Assist in project management and bid preparation
• Mentor junior staff and oversee technical work

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in engineering, with water/wastewater experience preferred
• Chartered or near Chartered Professional Member
• Experience in project management and technical mentoring
