Holtec International in Almondsbury is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) to drive cable routing and raceway design for the SMR-300 project. You will coordinate across electrical power, I&C and communications systems, ensuring designs meet codes, standards and constructability requirements.

This role offers hybrid work in the UK with relocation assistance. You will lead and mentor junior engineers, review routing deliverables, and support construction

Formación

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• 10–15 years in electrical design with significant cable routing and raceway experience; nuclear preferred.
• Ability to lead routing/raceway scope and mentor junior engineers.
• Proficiency in SP3D and 3D plant design environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cable routing design for electrical power, I&C, and communications.
• Develop routing approach and coordinate criteria/inputs (separation, fire area routing).
• Oversee raceway design including cable tray and conduit layout and installation considerations.
• Provide raceway sizing inputs and routing quantities/support needs.
• Coordinate penetration interfaces with civil/structural and other disciplines.
• Produce/review routing deliverables and ensure technical accuracy.
• Perform and/or oversee SP3D routing work; lead model reviews.
• Provide technical direction and quality oversight for junior engineers.
