Job summary

Addison Project Plc is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical function on a Hertfordshire site. The role includes ensuring compliance, safety and reliability of HV (11kV) and LV networks, and managing upgrades and asset integrity.

You will act as the site Duty Holder and Responsible Electrical Person, overseeing maintenance, training, and the electrical safety program, with a Monday–Friday on-site schedule and some on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Status preferred.
• Demonstrable on-site industrial electrical (including HV) experience.
• Experience holding SAEP status for HV networks.
• Understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations.
• Development of engineering standards and reports.
• Experience of HSE frameworks to a minimum IOSH level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory and legislative compliance across the electrical infrastructure and distribution network.
• Lead the electrical function including maintenance, operation, compliance and upgrades.
• Be the site Duty Holder and Responsible Electrical Person.
• Oversee HV and LV networks, asset integrity, and training competency.
• Manage HV switching schedules and protection settings.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety documentation and guidance.
