Job summary

Edwards is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Sustaining SAQ to provide rapid, customer-driven electrical engineering support for live service issues. The role works within the 8D framework, performing urgent failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in collaboration with Field Service teams.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of sub-assemblies, ensure documentation quality, and drive robust engineering dispositions under time-critical

Qualifications

• A good electrically biased engineering degree (or equivalent with 2 years industry experience).
• Experience in product development and introductions is an advantage.
• Knowledge of design for manufacture and design for assembly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modules/sub-assemblies of new products per PCP.
• Verify designs meet requirements by calculation and/or testing.
• Document design data, BOM, tests and ensure timely records per regulatory standards.
• Support sustained product issues and provide robust solutions to field service.
