Zusammenfassung

WSP is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical design for Building Services projects in Bristol and Cardiff. You will join a strong MEP team and provide design and technical advice across projects while collaborating with clients and project teams.

The role offers hybrid working with opportunities for career progression, supervision of junior staff, and exposure to landmark projects in the Property & Buildings sector.

Qualifikationen

• BEng/Bsc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline.
• CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council Chartership or working towards it.
• RevitMEP training applied to the discipline.
• A proven track record of delivering a variety of projects both in terms of scale and sector.
• Have the ability to engage with clients, contractors and design team members in technical discussions, co-ordination and debates.
• Have an ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively to both construction professionals and client teams.
• Have a detailed understanding of the regulations applicable to the discipline and how to demonstrate this through calculation.
• Have working understanding of latest electrical design software packages to allow the allocation / direction of work on projects.
• Have a good understanding of working with Revit MEP or other 3D design software to allow the allocation / direction of work on projects.
• Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)

Aufgaben

• Lead detailed designs and supervise the work of others in the function.
• Direct feasibility studies for projects within the discipline.
• Develop and direct the production of detailed and performance specifications.
• Provide design and technical advice within an MEP project management capacity.
• Develop and manage junior staff within the team.
