Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEICA team in the UK. You will contribute to the delivery of projects across energy, water and resources sectors, applying strong electrical design and control system expertise.

You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, produce detailed design documentation, ensure CDM compliance, and guide project teams through design reviews to meet quality, programme and budget requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical design.
• Ability to produce and interpret detailed design documentation and drawings.
• Experience with design tools and software (e.g., Trimble and other industry-standard systems).
• Understanding of Electrical and/or Control Systems engineering, with specialist knowledge in at least one area.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and strong knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; professional registration (IEng/CEng) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to winning and delivering projects across the UK in Energy, Water and Resources sectors.
• Develop electrical and control systems design across a varied project portfolio.
• Provide guidance on electrical and control system design and CDM compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet quality, programme and budget targets.
