Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Oxford office. You will lead the Electrical Building Services team, delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across a diverse project portfolio including education, commercial and public sector developments.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master's in Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
• Membership of CIBSE, IET or equivalent body.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Proven experience delivering electrical building services projects.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, standards and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering projects to a high technical standard, on time and within budget.
• Lead electrical design activities across feasibility, concept, detailed design and construction stages.
• Manage and coordinate project delivery, ensuring client requirements are met.
• Prepare specifications, calculations, reports and technical drawings.
• Meet with clients to establish project briefs, objectives and budget requirements.
• Review tender submissions and provide technical recommendations and reports.
• Oversee site works and monitor installation quality.
• Support project financial management including forecasting and invoicing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support recruitment and resource planning when required.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's qualification in Electrical/Building Services Engineering

Chartered Engineer status or working towards

Membership of CIBSE or IET

Proven experience delivering electrical building services projects

Experience mentoring junior engineers
