Job summary

Wood is seeking a Rotational Support Engineer- Electrical Engineer for our Sunbury office on a hybrid basis. This contract role focuses on delivering electrical engineering support to site-based teams and contributing to critical project work.

You will perform complex calculations, support technical changes, risk assessments, and incident investigations while helping shape equipment strategies and reliability on major energy projects. This is a collaborative, global firm environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Substantial experience in maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in oil & gas facilities.
• Knowledge of governing codes, industry standards and local regulations relevant to electrical engineering.
• Sound stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides EE expertise to technical Management of Change (MoCs) and Engineering Queries (EQs).
• Provides EE expertise to hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
• Provides EE expertise in performing incident investigations and defect assessments.
• Ensures that inspection, testing, maintenance and condition monitoring tasks align with Equipment Strategies.
• Develops and updates the technical content of Equipment Strategies based on equipment performance feedback and performs periodical review of planned inspection & maintenance effectiveness.
• Performs reliability analysis for electrical equipment using data and trends performance metrics.
• Writes, reviews and inputs technical content into Site Operations Procedures (SOPs).
• Coaches North Oil Company (NOC) and North Gas Company (NGC) engineers.
• Generates, revises, and reviews discipline Technical Documentation.
