Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and delivery across building services projects in Leicester. You will manage the design from concept through to completion, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with architects, mechanical engineers and clients.

The role offers a hybrid pattern (4 office days with a 9-day fortnight), a competitive salary (£65,000-£68,000) with a car allowance, and clear progression toward Associate Director and Director

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical design for building services.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and to budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery of building services projects from concept to completion.
• Produce and review detailed electrical designs, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Manage electrical building services systems including lighting, power and fire alarm.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and contractors.
• Attend client meetings and represent the business professionally.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Manage project workloads, deadlines and resources.
