Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Leeds Building Services team. You will design and deliver electrical building services across diverse sectors, collaborating with stakeholders from concept through a full RIBA spectrum.

You will develop compliant solutions using CAD/BIM, especially Revit, and conduct site surveys, calculations, and design reviews to meet client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical building services designs from concept through to completion.
• Proficiency with Amtech/Trimble ProDesign or equivalent software.
• Knowledge of RIBA work stages and industry guidance (BSRIA BG6).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Produce reports, specifications, calculations, and detailed electrical designs as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Develop compliant electrical building services solutions using CAD and BIM software, including Revit where applicable.
• Undertake electrical design calculations and ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Carry out site surveys, inspections, defect assessments, and witness testing as required.
• Review construction design information and provide technical feedback.
• Liaise with architects, structural engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions throughout the design and construction process.
• Ensure designs comply with current legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Advise clients on energy efficiency, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies within building design.
