Job Description:

Join AECOM's Scotland Electrical team as a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in defence projects.

This role involves leading high and low voltage electrical services, overseeing infrastructure design documentation, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Participating in design review and project meetings
• Engaging in hazard identification workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Developing and reviewing engineering documentation
• Managing stakeholder relationships
• Defining project requirements and supporting consultant engineering
• Contributing to training development within your expertise

Qualifications:

• BEng in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or similar
• Knowledge of British & European Standards and electrical systems
• Experience across concept, detailed design, and construction stages, ideally in industrial or maritime sectors
• Experience with electrical plant and equipment safety assessments
• Experience in multi-discipline projects, particularly in defence or maritime contexts

Desirable:

• Experience in UK nuclear industry, especially safety-related structures
• Knowledge of UK and US nuclear regulations and standards

Additional Details:

• Active UK SC Clearance or ability to obtain it
• Onsite work in Glasgow 3 days/week
