Job summary

Hoare Lea is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to join the Data Centre & Mission Critical (MCDC) team. You will lead electrical design delivery across data centre projects and work directly with clients to develop designs and reports for complex facilities in UK, Ireland, and Europe.

You will collaborate with a knowledgeable team, support testing and commissioning, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality outcomes in a flexible, hybrid working

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer delivering Mission Critical and Data Centre projects.
• Strong client-facing consultancy experience.
• Mentoring and developing junior staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design delivery for data centre and mission-critical projects.
• Act as a senior client-facing engineer for the client.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to deliver integrated building and campus solutions.
• Prepare and review design deliverables, specifications and technical reports.
• Provide technical input during early-stage site appraisals, masterplanning and test-fit studies.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Support monitoring of fee expenditure and project resources.
• Mentor and develop next-gen professionals.
