Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Nottingham to lead electrical building services design from concept to completion. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver sustainable engineering solutions for private and public sector projects.

You will coordinate with BIM technicians, architects and other engineers, taking responsibility for design delivery, quality, and schedules while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services systems and UK standards.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple design stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical building services systems (power, lighting, fire alarms, data).
• Produce electrical designs, calculations, specs, and reports.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, public health, structural and architectural teams.
