Job summary

Matchtech Group seeks a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer in Birmingham to lead multidisciplinary design teams on major projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, transport, rail and industrial. You will own delivery from concept to completion and manage client relationships with strong technical leadership.

Rail/transport experience is highly desirable, with Chartered Engineer status and BIM/Revit familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Electrical Building Services design experience.
• Chartered Engineer with professional registration is preferred.
• Experience in consultancy project delivery and client liaison beneficial.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities are essential.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is desirable; rail/transport exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams from concept through to completion.
• Take ownership of project delivery and client relationships.
• Provide technical leadership on major schemes.
• Support development of junior engineers and share knowledge.

We're seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineers to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, delivering innovative engineering solutions across commercial, healthcare, transport, rail, aviation and industrial projects.

You'll take ownership of project delivery from concept through to completion, leading multidisciplinary design teams, managing client relationships and providing technical leadership on major schemes. Rail project experience is highly desirable, particularly within station, transport infrastructure or associated building services environments.
