East London (E16)

Monday-Friday Days (7am-3pm)

Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a new Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Be the Site Electrical Duty Holder, responsible for all of the plants electrical infrastructure - up to 11KV
2. Leading a team of X2 Electrical Engineers - workload planning, training, guidance, hands-on support
3. Planning the upgrade & maintenance of the medium & low voltage electrical power networks
4. PPM planning & improvement to electrical power distribution, transformers, PLC's, turbines, motors, VSD's, MV/LV switchgear
5. Provide hands-on electrical assistance and guidance
6. Work closely with the Site Electrical Manager on capital electrical projects
7. Continuous improvements, RCA, FMEA, long-term planning
8. Keep up-to-date with electrical legislation compliance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Must be an experienced senior level electrical engineer
2. Beneficial if worked in manufacturing, but not essential
3. Previously have been a Site Electrical Duty Holder or Senior Authorised Person
4. Must have experience with PLC's, VSD's, Electrical Systems (up to 11KV), power generation
5. HND / Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
6. Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship
7. Beneficial if worked in a ATEX / CompEX environment
8. Role would suit someone from power generation, power distribution (HV), petrochemical, oil & gas
9. Strong PPM and maintenance planning experience
10. Experience of managing CI capital projects
