The Opportunity

Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, our electrical engineers aim to design buildings that maximize value for our clients while minimizing environmental impact. We are currently recruiting Electrical Engineers with excellent design and technical skills at various career stages to join our Building Services team in Manchester. You will join a collaborative team of over 35 engineers and technicians in Manchester and a wider team of 100+ engineers and technicians within the North West & Yorkshire region.

Our Electrical Engineers are involved in all project stages, from feasibility to completion. We work across sectors including healthcare, data centres, labs, commercial, residential, education, energy, sports, and mixed-use developments. Current projects include North Manchester General Hospital and Manchester Town Hall, providing opportunities to see your work come to life. Is this role right for you?

We seek Electrical Engineers who can apply their expertise to shape our projects. You should have a background in electrical building services design and experience across various project sizes and building types. Our engineers are involved in digital transformation efforts, seeking efficiencies through automation and offering new digital services to clients. A passion for design, architecture, and sustainable building design is desirable.

Depending on your experience, you may lead electrical building services design and mentor junior engineers. Experience managing small teams and strong commercial awareness for client relationships are advantageous. We welcome applicants at different career stages with relevant sector knowledge.

Requirements:

• Chartered status
• Knowledge of UK codes & standards
• Commitment to professional development and seeking stimulating work
• Experience with BIM environment using Revit
• BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
