Job Opportunity: Senior EICA Engineer in the Water Sector

Our client is recruiting for a Senior EICA Engineer specializing in the Water Sector. The company has an extensive portfolio of projects worldwide, focusing on asset creation, process improvement, and plant optimization. The multidisciplinary teams include electrical, ICA, process, mechanical, and civil engineers, dedicated to innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions.

Project Involvement

The projects involve disciplines such as:

• LV and HV power systems, motor control centers, process instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
• DSEAR/ATEX compliance and functional safety.
• Design visualization using intelligent P&IDs, 3D models, and virtual reality.
• Power system analysis software.
• Design tools including intelligent schedules and MCC design software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset surveys and assessments with advanced technologies.
• Perform feasibility and detailed electrical and ICA design work, including specifications, design schedules, drawings, and risk assessments.
• Write technical reports throughout project stages.
• Engage with UK and international clients.
• Support or lead bids, proposals, and service offers.
• Deliver projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Create technical papers and presentations for conferences and clients.
• Assist in technical investigations and expert witness activities.
• Mentor and develop less experienced colleagues.
• Contribute to innovative ideas and digital design tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Electrical or ICA engineering; Chartered status preferred.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and a confident communicator.
• Interest and experience in the water/wastewater industry.
