Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide electrical support across the portfolio, managing scopes of work, electrical integrity databases, and vendors.
2. Own and be accountable for maintenance strategies and policy documents.
3. Ensure installation integrity, reliability, availability, and maintainability of electrical and control equipment to meet production targets.
4. Coordinate with operations personnel for maintenance and upgrades of electrical equipment.
5. Audit switching of LV and HV systems for compliance with procedures, safety, and legal requirements.
6. Implement and review planned maintenance programs to meet statutory and vendor requirements.
7. Maintain records of performance, trends, and failures.
8. Coordinate third-party electrical support in accordance with regulations and policies.
9. Ensure electrical equipment in hazardous areas complies with BS EN 60079 standards.
10. Support the Technical Authority as needed.
11. Provide electrical guidance and support to onshore and offshore personnel.
12. Stay updated with latest standards and procedures, and review related documents.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

1. Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within the Oil and Gas industry.
2. Proven track record of delivering electrical scopes offshore.
3. Experience with Maintenance Management Systems and Performance Standards.
4. Educated to HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
5. Membership in a professional engineering institution (IET) is advantageous.
6. Computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance software.
7. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
8. Self-motivated and team-oriented, with effective communication skills at all levels.
9. Offshore survival and medical certifications are desirable.
