Job summary

Triumph Motorcycles in Hinckley, Leicestershire, seeks a Senior Electrical Electronics Components Engineer to lead design and development of electrical components across chassis, powertrain, and electric driveline.

You will define hardware requirements, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety and EMC compliance while managing suppliers to deliver ECUs/parts for future models.

Qualifications

• BEng / BSc or MEng / MSc in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or HND in relevant subject and relevant hardware experience.
• Proficient in hardware specification, requirements capture / management and managing suppliers.
• Experienced in managing suppliers to deliver ECUs / Components against project deliverables.
• Knowledge of CAN communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic components across chassis, powertrain, electric driveline, RESS and HMI systems
• Define, specify and validate components to meet system requirements, safety standards (FuSa), environmental conditions and EMC regulations
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical issues and risks at both component and full motorcycle level
• Manage component delivery against quality, cost and timing targets, working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers
• Develop and manage hardware requirements and system architectures, supporting integration with systems, software and modelling teams
