Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a Building Services consultancy. You will support the electrical team, coordinate projects across Commercial, Residential, Hotels, Education and Healthcare, and supervise junior staff.

The role involves design calculations with Amtech, lighting design with Dialux, and active participation in meetings and QA compliance. The position is full-time and office-based in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in Electrical Building Services design.
• Qualified electrical engineer with relevant accreditation.
• Proven ability to communicate with staff at all levels and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Project Co-ordination
• Lighting Designs utilising Dialux Software
• Producing Electrical design calculations using Amtech Software
• Take an active role in project meetings
• Liaising with both internal and external design teams
• Supervision of Junior staff
• Compliance with company QA system
• Take an active role in marketing and work winning activities
