Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Cambridge seeks an experienced Senior Associate Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services across education, commercial, residential, healthcare and public sector projects. You’ll drive delivery, build trust with clients and shape the team’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership with a recognised institution
• Significant experience in designing electrical building services and knowledge of British Standards

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering delivery on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact.
• Lead project meetings, workshops and technical discussions with clients, contractors and design teams.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for electrical design deliverables.
• Mentor and develop graduates and engineers, support chartership progression, plan resources and provide day-to-day technical guidance.
• Identify and secure new opportunities through existing client relationships and business development.
• Contribute to fee proposals, project planning, risk management and financial performance, while promoting innovation and best practice across Ridge.
