Pertemps in Clevedon is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to sustain and improve existing semiconductor equipment. You will design electrical modules, resolve field issues, and upgrade designs for reliability and safety.

Collaborate across engineering, service, and suppliers to deliver practical solutions that meet customer requirements and deadlines. The role offers hybrid/flexible working where feasible, with a salary of £53,000 plus an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits,

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Two years' industry experience in electrical design.
• Experience with electrical design and product development.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and system schematics.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electrical modules and sub-assemblies to improve existing products.
• Investigate and resolve recurring technical issues affecting equipment in the field.
• Develop design upgrades to improve reliability, safety and maintainability.
• Support the management of obsolete components and identify alternative sources of supply.
• Verify designs against technical requirements and relevant engineering standards through calculations and testing.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet agreed quality, cost and project deadlines.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including models, drawings, design data, bills of materials and test data.
• Work with engineering, service, manufacturing, suppliers and customers to deliver effective solutions.
