Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Greater London is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to produce designs suitable for construction within the power sector, with emphasis on safety, CDM compliance and adherence to applicable standards.

You will work on 132kV/33kV/11kV systems, develop technical and contractual documents for procurement, and ensure design processes align with ENA, DNO and international standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with knowledge of power system and protection design across 132kV, 33kV, 11kV and intermediate voltages.
• Degree level or equivalent in engineering or science.
• Familiarity with design processes and ENA/International Design Standards including relevant operational aspects to deliver designs.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs that can be constructed in compliance with standards and CDM requirements with little or no management
• Contribute to the production of technical, commercial and contractual documents for procurement of engineering products
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures. Compliance with design assurance and audit processes
