Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing power infrastructure programme in the North of England. You will contribute to the design and delivery of HV electrical infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, compliance and meeting project milestones.

You'll work on HV designs up to 33kV, support substations and cable systems, prepare technical drawings and documentation, and liaise with delivery teams to ensure designs meet industry regulations and DNO

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Experience on HV electrical design projects.
Knowledge of power systems, substations or network infrastructure.
Experience with DNO standards (SPEN, National Grid) desirable.
Strong understanding of industry regulations and best practice.

Responsibilities

Produce electrical designs for HV infrastructure projects up to 33kV.
Assist in design of substations, cable systems and associated equipment.
Prepare design drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Liaise with project delivery teams to ensure designs meet safety and ops requirements.
Support design reviews and engineering approvals.
Ensure designs comply with DNO standards and industry regulations.
