Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is partnering with a leading renewables company to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for the Blyth site. The role centers on overseeing electrical system design, installation and commissioning, and providing expert support for offshore projects to industry standards and safety regulations.

You will lead multi-project delivery, mentor engineers, ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes, and maintain rigorous records while advancing asset development within a testing

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
Degree in engineering discipline required.
Chartered Engineer status or active toward chartership.
Experience with offshore renewable energy projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead problem solving for complex engineering issues.
Provide electrical engineering design, development and testing expertise.
Manage multiple projects with time, quality and cost control.
Mentor and support the development of engineers.
Present project updates to stakeholders and clients.
Ensure compliance with ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO17025.
