Energy Jobline CVL is working with an established MEP design consultancy in Crawley to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. You will produce full electrical building services designs for residential and commercial developments from concept through to construction.

This role offers a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, the chance to own design outcomes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including architects and mechanical

Qualifications

Experience in Building Services / MEP design consultancy.
Strong knowledge of electrical building services design.
Experience delivering designs for residential and/or commercial projects.
Knowledge of British Standards and building regulations.
Experience producing electrical calculations and documentation.
Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit MEP advantageous.

Responsibilities

Producing electrical designs from concept through detailed design and construction.
Developing electrical layouts, schematics and technical drawings.
Carrying out load assessments and calculations.
Designing lighting and emergency lighting systems.
Producing LV distribution and containment designs.
Reviewing drawings and information with multidisciplinary teams.
