Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead megawatt-scale power system design for industrial applications. You will own the architecture, develop schematics and panel layouts, and guide safety and compliance activities across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 5–15 years' experience and strong CAD tool proficiency. Relocation support and competitive compensation are offered in a fast-growing engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years industrial electrical design experience.
• Megawatt-scale AC power systems for industrial plants or heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, protection coordination, and cable sizing.
• Experience with IEC 61508, SIL/SIF or functional safety.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Own the AC power system architecture for large-scale industrial systems.
• Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, protection strategies, and cable sizing.
• Lead functional safety activities (HAZOP, FMEA, IEC 61508/SIL).
• Support CE/UKCA compliance and electrical system certification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
