RGB Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing building services team. You will lead electrical design projects from concept through post‑completion and manage key client relationships.

Qualificações

• HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Significant experience in Electrical Building Services Design.
• Independent project management capability.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to post‑completion.
• Proficient in electrical design and calculation software.
• Understanding of British Standards and regulations.
• Client, contractor and team liaison experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical support.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage and deliver electrical building services projects from concept to post‑completion.
• Lead production and technical delivery of electrical designs, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Perform and review electrical calculations using recognised software.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, external consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Manage client relationships as key contact on electrical design matters.
• Monitor contractor progress and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Deliver projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, leisure, retail, residential, extra care and mixed‑use developments.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice and applicable regulations.
• Promote sustainable design principles and energy‑efficient engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the engineering team.
• Assist with developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
