Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Birmingham-area office on a full-time basis. You will lead electrical design for varied sectors and report to the Director. The role covers commercial, residential, hotels, education and healthcare with QA compliance and client liaison.

Applicants should have 5+ years in electrical building services and a recognised electrical engineering degree. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Building Services design.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Project co-ordination for electrical design projects.
• Create lighting designs using Dialux.
• Produce electrical design calculations with Amtech.
• Participate in project meetings and liaising with design teams.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure QA compliance.
• Support marketing and work-winning activities.
