Job description

NES Fircroft is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a client in the global oilfield services industry. The role is based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, and involves working in the wireline and wellhead equipment department. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Innovate, design, and develop customized, customer-centric electrical solutions using advanced CAE tools.
2. Lead and execute design projects, including cost estimates, validation, and compliance documentation, ensuring delivery within budget and to client specifications.
3. Provide expert technical support across departments and regions, including on-site installation, testing, and client meetings globally.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
2. Strong experience in electrical design within the Oil & Gas sector.
3. Proficiency in CAE (FEA, CFD, etc.) tools and engineering documentation.
4. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems.
5. UK right of work.
