Job summary

Calibre Search, a UK-based building services consultancy, seeks a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to own electrical and lighting design for a varied sector mix. This fully remote role suits professionals who can manage client relationships and drive designs end-to-end.

The Role

• Deliver Electrical systems, Lighting system designs across a varied sector mix
• Work independently on design while managing client and site relationships directly
• Take on Stage 2 and 3 design work as standard, with Stage 4 experience valued
• Support and mentor junior members of the electrical team as it continues to grow
• Occasional site surveys (roughly monthly), otherwise fully remote

About You

• Solid, broad-based Electrical design experience across power distribution and switchgear, lighting and controls, lightning protection, fire alarm and detection, access control, security and CCTV.
• Comfortable managing your own workload and client relationships with minimal oversight
• Some experience supporting or training junior engineers
• Revit skills are a bonus, but not essential
